I could not see how I could continue with my blog without mentioning the passing of Dean's dad, Jeff Dockstader.
He passed away Friday, August 15th at the age of 54. It has been a very difficult time for our family. We love him and will miss him.
I would like to express my gratitude for all of the support we have received during this time. All of the food, prayers and kind words have uplifted us.
Things will never be the same but we hope to move forward with peace we gospel brings. We will see him again.

You don't know me... but I knew Jeff! My name is Hillary Haar Williams. My parents are Randy & Gay Haar in Fresno. The Dockstaders have been family friends since my parents moved to Fresno about 27 years ago!
I just wanted to share my love for your family! I'm so sorry that you have to miss him! He is such a wonderful man! So kind! And so fun! I loved his smile!
I enjoyed the picture you posted of your kids with him the weekend before his passing! What a treasure! I don't mean to bring this up again for you, but I just ran across your blog from Amy Nielson... loves & hugs. Best of wishes this new year!
