Yummy. . .

The best thing about strawberry season is, STRAWBERRY PIZZA

Crust
Combine:
2 cups flour
2 cups butter
4 tablespoons sugar

Press into jellyroll pan and bake at 375º for 15 minutes (until golden brown.) If your oven bakes on the warm side I would bake at 350º

Filling
Blend
16 ounces of cream cheese
2 cups powdered sugar
2 cups cool whip

Spread over cooled crust

Top with sliced strawberries and one jar of strawberry glaze.

I talked my mom out of our traditional Mother's Day lemon cake with strawberries and into having this instead. It wasn't that difficult once I described it to her. Can't wait!!!

Hey Dalila, I was reading over the recipe again (getting ready to make the crust for tomorrow, mmmm!) and I wanted to clarify. Is it 2 cups of butter or 2 sticks? Seem 2 cups would be too much.

Thanks!

It is probably too late but yes 2 cups. That is a pound of butter and why it is so good. This is not a dessert for the faint of heart.

Wow!!! Well, I used two sticks and it was kind-of a shortbread crust, a little dry and crumbly. It was really good that way, but now I'll have to take the plunge and try the full pound! I need an excuse to make this again anyway, and that will do!!! :P

Thanks again for the recipe!
