Proposition 8 is to overturn the decision that 4 judges made to allow same gender marriage in California. The state already voted and 61% of us previously decided that marriage is only between a man and a woman.
Soooo, November 4th we have a chance to vote again to define in our state constitution that marriage is between a man and a woman.
We need to support this. When my children to go school I do not want to have their teachers telling them that same sex marriage is the same as traditional marriage.
I don't have anything againts homosexuals. I try to love all of gods children. I believe that the family is ordained of God. Marriage between man and woman is essential to His eternal plan. Children are entitled to birth within the bonds of matrimony, and to be reared by a father and a mother.
So if you live in California make sure you are registered to vote and that you vote YES ON PROP 8.
If you don't live in California you can go to www.protectmarriage.com and help financially. If this passes in California your state could be next.
