College vs. Kindergarten

I have been working over the past couple of weeks to get Abby registered in Kindergarten. It started with the application, then a parent meeting, assessment and filling out registration forms (Why does the school want to know if Abby's birth was normal, difficult or c-section?)

Anyhow, tomorrow I finally get to turn in her registration forms. Good right? WRONG. We still have to wait for the lottery. We are trying to get Abby into a charter school. We didn't have to jump through as many hoops to get my husband through college.

I am pretty stressed out. Our odds are pretty slim. (25 applicants for around 5 spaces) The lottery will be held April 1st so send your happy thoughts and good energy our way.

p.s. I start an online class next week so if you don't hear from me I am probably crying at my desk wondering why I thought it was a good idea to take a class while I am 6 1/2 months pregnant.

Don't worry I have yet to see a child not make it in. Even if they are on the waitlist they get in. Savannah was on the waitlist but then they called the day before school started. I am also taking online classes and I get stressed out but it is all worth it. :)

I will keep little scabby in my prayers.
As for school, just drop your kids off once a week for a few hours, go to the library and do your online class. Jacob needs cousin time and I love to laugh at Carter...errr, with Carter :)

Love you!
