So I had an eventful shopping experience at Target today.
Carter has his blankey that he LOVES. My mom had already cut it in half so we could have a back up but we have lost one. We were down to one half of a blankey when we went to Target. Carter was carrying it around like usual. We were on our way out and a woman asked if we were missing a blanket. I looked through our cart and realized it was missing. She described it and told me where it was. The woman said that it looked like it belonged to us. I don't know what we would have done if we lost his lovey. He would be one sad boy.
Anyhow, while at Target I bought a cube storage unit and I had it under the cart. When we left the cart was full so Abby and Carter we walking along side me. As we were making our way to the parking lot the box slipped out from the cart. I had traffic blocked both ways. The box was heavy and difficult to get back on but I managed. As soon as we moved out of the way of traffic the dang thing slipped off again. I was getting frustrated and I was worried Carter was going to bolt while I was wrangling this thing. As I started to bend over and deal with the problem and I heard a voice say, "Can I help you?"
I stood up and there was a woman and her son. She seemed to pop up out of nowhere. I just looked at her because I don't like to ask for help but I really needed it. So, she just picked up the box and said, "Where is your car?" I showed her and she went and loaded the thing in. It may not have been a big deal to her but it totally made my day. I really feel like Heavenly Father was watching over me and I am grateful for these women who were his instruments. These may not have been big, life changing events but it meant a lot to me.

Tender mercies! Life would be a whole lot rougher without them. :)
